I agree with you. Those first tongue pictures drew attention. Several sets of photos taken by Creepy Richardson did as well.

If I were Miley, I'd do a 180° right now. I'd have the attention, and now would be the time to come up with an entirely different image.

The wannabe bad girl won't sell forever. It's already getting old. Photo of Miley? Expect either overheated bulldog lolling tongue or finger caressing her vayjayjay or pancake-flat rear. Zzzz.

That would actually be pretty smart...cause the attention is on her now. If she waits too long, people would have moved on to the next big thing. and she could always say that she's "young and evolving just like Madonna and Britney"

OK, I get it now.

As much as I wanted her to go away, I now understand that this was all shameless advertising to get every demographic to listen to her record. Which, from what I've heard, is pretty good.

She doesn't annoy me so much if I don't look at the pics/videos, or read about her, or look at the TV.

She did get up early to do the Today Show, which says a lot about her work ethic. And there was not much attitude in her morning interview (which shows she can take direction), although she did come across as juvenile (to me), which could have also been an act.

I think her voice stands out, her songs seem to be well produced, and she could have a good career as a recording artist when she is finally taken seriously.

I just wish she would shut up about the drugs.

Miley Cyrus just told Matt Lauer she'll probably stop being so sexual when she turns 40 ... because that's the age when people STOP having sex.

Miley appeared on the "Today" show this morning -- in a pair of really short shorts -- when Matt asked if Miley's hyper "sexual side" is just a phase or something she expects to grow out of?

Miley replied with a pretty direct shot at Lauer ... a shot he didn't really seem to get at first.


Best part of the exchange ... Matt reveals his age (way older than 40) ... and Miley says, "Then you're really definitely not sexual."

Still, we gotta ask ...
