Rihanna has no room to judge with her own spastic performances, admittedly, none as cringeworthy as this. I just dont even know what Miley was trying to do with this. The tongue, the skinny butt twerking, the weird stage, I hope she looks back on this with profound embarrassment, calls it a crazy moment and just STOPS.

Rihanna has never looked that awkward. Now have I ever watched a Rihanna performance and cringed at her voice? yes. all the time. But her movements and presence on stage are never embarrassing.

I can at least take a limited amount of comfort in that she's being obnoxious and ridiculous on purpose. There have been performers who are actually being serious who have been almost that embarrassingly bad.

I just watched the performance on YT... hard to watch for several reasons:

-She's so awkward and clunky
-Her version of "sexy" is childish.. like a kid who just learned the word "sexy" and is playing pretend for her friends
-Robin is married and old enough to be her father

I kinda liked the dancing teddy bears but didn't find the actual twerk part to be that bad.... although I wouldn't call it a twerk, it's more of a stripper shimmy. Where the hell was Paula?

Yeah I don't even like Rihanna, but agree her performances are usually decently choreographed. Agree its her voice that the problem, but at least she really sings. Im pretty sure Miley was lip singing for most of this performance.
