Miley Cyrus chats on her cell phone while heading into the recording studio to put the finishing touches on her album Bangerz on Thursday afternoon (August 15) in North Hollywood, Calif.

“For anyone calling me…. I am locking down #BANGERZ literally tonight. Going MIA. #focused #putinWERK,” the 20-year-old entertainer tweeted.

Earlier in the day, Miley announced that Bangerz will be released on October 8. We can’t wait to hear more of her new music!

In terms of music a "banger" is the ultimate club song. Gets hella radio and club play. Everybody goes nuts when it comes on. If she's going to call her album "Bangerz".... that's setting the bar very high. I don't see it.
