My MK watch is from Nordstroms and they have such good service that it was worth the money, I brought it back with a problem and they fixed it right away.

I buy my MK watches at Nordstrom, but frequently have snagged them on sale. I bought a Jet Set silver tone chrono for $150 on Nordstrom.com. Many MK watches go on sale 12-16 months after they are debuted. I did pay full price for my rose gold watch because I'm wondering if the plating will hold up.
Has anyone bought the chain-link ceramic MK watch? MK5387 (white) or MK 5388? I may need to start a new post on this no to hijack....I read ONE review--girl said the pin kept breaking. Repair shop said ceramic band too heavy for pins...just wondering if others had same issue. I Googled the heck out of it..cant find info ...I have it now..just want to be sure it wont break and crash to the floor. The other choice is to buy the "standard" band that all the MK ceramic watches have (plain runway collection). I just thought this one had a bit more of an interesting design (but not if it is not made well and breaks bc the pins are not "strong" enough to hold the heavy ceramic band/face!!)

NANI----BTW--I LOVE LOVE the MK5161!! That would be my other choice if I didnt get the chain-link. The difference is 38 MM face (technically for woman) on the 5161 and 44 MM face on the 5163 (unisex for man or woman). I like a LARGE watch...but feel the 5161 is plenty big!!! Of course, the watch I am discussing in this thread (chain) is about 44mm ....just a tad large for me but nice. Did you buy the watch??

I don't know if they make MK replicas but these days theres a replica for everything so be carefull, I bought my 3 MK watches from the store, and I don't take care of them at all and they look like new except the white one that the first day I wore it with a jean experience color transfer. So they're pretty much durable, if you're looking for a watch $150 or so watch I totally recomended Marc by Marc jacobs they are so beautiful and good watches too, I'm going to buy one at nordstrom, I love my MK watches but I want another one and Marc Jabocs is a great option.
I have this watch, wear the heck out of it, and have never had any issues with it.
haven't try it I just use it that way but I'm pretty sure it you have garantee they replaced or change the bracelet
