My thoughts would be that if this is the very most that you spent on a bag before, you should probably get something that you can carry every day, like something more neutral. However, this bag is gorgeous and MK does still make some quality bags these days even though the lining has cheapened out recently. If I were you, I'd spend the money on something that you can love every day.
If you are not sure return it. If that is the most you would pay for a bag return it for something you can wear everyday. The color is pretty.
I think you should keep it as your statement bag. You can always branch out and find a good quality neutral anytime. I've let something go and felt haunted ever since.

I agree that you know when you love something because you want to run home and put your stuff in it. However is the price holding you up? Buyers remorse? Please dont make a decision based on our opinions because buy what you LOVE. I personally like it. However as someone else said you should use your most expensive bag almost daily (in my/our opinion)--It should be a wardrobe staple. I don't think that snakeskin or snakeskin like material will hold up when used daily for a long period of time, but that is just my experience. Let us know what you decide. Welcome to TPF.
If that's the most your spent and your unsure..then you should return it. There's a lot more out there. You can find great MK bags at the outlets too.
