Well since you guys just keep mentioning it, when I get off work tomorrow, I get on my PS3 and stream it on netflix, I see I am able to do that much and I wont have to have thems end me a DVD copy lol.

You guys like movie reviews? I like to give them.

As yet he hasn't said anything publicly regarding the charges... I doubt he will issue any statement unless he absolutely has to and seeing how much Hollywood has invested in his success I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Funnily enough I just read an article the other day asking whether Fassbender has enough star power to break into Hollywood...

What Hollywood Thinks:
"The guy is completely on fire," raves one top agent. "He's on every list, and he's only going to get hotter since he's the male lead of Prometheus. He was fantastic in Hunger and unbelievable in Andrea Arnold's movie — he's a big reason it won the Jury Prize at Cannes and the BAFTA for Best Picture — but no one saw those movies here. He was in Jonah Hex, which was a catastrophe, but no one blames him for Brolin kicking off the original directors."

Says another talent agent, "He makes commercial choices but he has the pedigree of an 'actor's actor.' He's the heir apparent to Daniel Day-Lewis. I couldn't be prouder to be the same [species] as that guy, let alone work in the same profession. He's represented by someone I consider a real rival [CAA's Michael Cooper, agent to stars like Charlie Hunnam, Henry Cavill and Josh Brolin], but I am thrilled for him and root for him."

One high-powered publicist is just as enamored. "I would literally pay money to represent him," she says. "When someone has that much talent, you can pick and choose. The day he stops being a good actor, and taking cool, interesting roles, that will change, of course, but for now, he is so brilliant."

And apparently the only way he could screw up would be...
"Could he screw it up?" asks the publicist. "Sure, if he pulls a Chris Brown, beats up a girl. Or if he becomes a huge diva." But she thinks that Fassbender has the goods to survive imminent fame.

I'm guessing if nothing came of it i.e: if he did beat her up, he would of been charged.Since this woman did this before, i'm smelling bs.

Oops... I posted this before I saw your new post.

So the above link with the article of the ex gf with a restraining order, what happend.Did he deny it?

Just to answer our question a bit better...

She dropped the charges (as you probably know) and he never said anything. Although even if you're completely innocent you're probably better off saying nothing.

The only place the charge are discussed or mentioned are on message boards all over the internet. I can't recall any news article that has brought it up and mentioned it in any way.

I agree.

It really smells bs.

Michael has a flawless rep while ROC doesn´t:

And there was no proof and Michael wasn´t charged...

So based on what we know Michael is the victim here , not ROC...

I'm actually inclined to believe the charges even though she has a bit of a notorious past. The more you google the story the more it confirms certain details that make the story look legit. If you look at the time period between when she filed and when she retracted her statement it seems to suggest the charges were never formalized. If a judge had signed off on it, it would have been very difficult to have the charges dismissed without the accused having to make a court appearance.

My guess is that his agent or manager "handled" the situation. If she was willing to back down from charges that were true then I suppose that's her problem.

I think him dating her fact if you look at a few of the public people she has dated there's a recurring common word that's used to describe them... I guess you could say she has a type.

Of course I have no way of knowing what really happened and even if things played out exactly the way they were described I don't think that it makes the Fass a horrible or evil person... just one deeply flawed dude.

She said he "threw her over a couch, breaking her nose" not that he beat her up.

Someone left this comment at an article :

Sadly it's not uncommon for some women to make those sorts of allegations against their boyfriends when their boyfriends were actually trying to defend themselves or, in some cases, escape. I once dealt with a very similar case of a man that was being verbally and physically attacked by his girlfriend so he got into his car to get away. She chased him screaming and he had to push her away so he could close the door and drive off. She later went to the police to get him arrested for assault as she injured herself falling backwards. After the police investigated and discovered the whole story, they politely advised her to not take it any further.

We should really know better than to make gender based assumptions and I say this as a woman myself. It's easy to make an allegation but it's very hard to take back the damage the allegation does. I've seen it happen too often.

I do not know either party but, as her version is out there and he has kept a dignified silence, I thought that I'd point out that there are always two sides to every story. Food for thought.

Maybe the truth is something like this , that he did not want to hurt her , they had an argument , he pushed her away , she fell and hit her face.

Not that pushing away / throwing someone over a couch is o.k. , but it´s not the same thing as beating someone up by purpose like Chris Brown did to Rihanna.

But of course I am just guessing , have no idea what´s really happened.
