I've seen " 12 years a slave" and " the counselor". Enjoyed both films. Superb cast & crew who believed and supported Solomon Northup's account of his time in bondage. The counselor is the old-fashioned morality tale that was wonderfully envisioned by Ridley Scott. Looking forward to Frank - the movie will pass on the western - do not care for them being not part of my culture. I hope he can expand hi fan base to include younger males especially ( did wonders for Nicole Beharie) and as acquisition of capital to fund movies make them more dependent on foreign sources: our views as film goers will be considered and less of the stupid gossip-more on film as an art form. For now I will support the local scene and "well-made" movies from Hollywood.
