Was it bad? Or too long. The trailer didn't give much of a plot and it seemed like arsty footage. How was Brad Pitt?

I agree! I can't wait to see the Director's cut.
There isn't much of a plot. It's basically a 60-minute film (or even less) framed by footage of the Discovery Channel and CGI footage of dinosaurs. The classical soundtrack was pretty good, but the film is just too long (139 min) and too boring for my liking. It's filled with symbolism that I just didn't get. I found it a bit pretentious and up it's own arse. Several people walked out. That only other film where I have seen that happen was LVT's Antichrist.
I think The Tree of Life is cinematic marmite; you either get it and love it or you don't. I didn't get it.
I´ve seen Beginners today ( quite good movie BTW ) and they showed the Jane Eyre trailer before the movie!
Fassy was so hot!

Me neither. I'll def watch it again in the cinema. I saw the JE trailer before Beginners as well. That's a funny coincidence. I didn't really like that film though. The three main leads were pretty good though.
