Surely this is mistake? Why on earth would he get a tattoo with a foreign coat of arms??? Makes no sense to me at all.

Btw, did anyone notice the ring that he has on his finger? It looks interesting. Especially for someone twho never wears jewellery.

I dunno, it's an odd choice. But then again, I've seen people sporting Tweety Bird tattoos so I just don't ask anymore. That ring is interesting. Wonder if it means something.

Just watched this interview that Fandora posted earlier. Is it me or is the man saying that he just saw JE for the first time at the festival? Wasn't this film released in the US in March? I thought I rememberred seeing pics of him and Zoe at the premiere.

Either I'm wrong or he's 'acting'.

Some celebs skip out on the viewing after the red carpet (Johnny Depp does this a lot since he doesn't like to watch himself) So maybe he just did his photo obligation and didn't go to the viewing.

A write up on Michael's trip to Croatia:

There was a short on his visit of Bosnia and Croatia on Canadian national TV... Apparantly, he took photos with at least 30 fans in Sarajevo before enetering in the building where the Film Festival was held, he then had a short tour of the city on his bike and some even say that he lighted a candle for all Bosnian and Croatian victims at the war memorial.

In Croatia he visited ancient city of Dubrovnik and got a tatoo of Croatian medieval coat of arms and then expressed his desire to film a movie in Dubrovnik. He spend a few minutes with Croatian fans in the main street and talked to some elders who were sitting in a local caffe. The elders claimed they didnt know who he was, but he seemed like a decent person who was curious about the local history and museums. Apparently Fassbendar had a relative who was a Croatian foreign volounteer during the war.

:confused1: I'm not sure if Fassy stayed long enough to have it done.
Anyway I'm glad he had nice time both in Sarajevo and Dubrovnik. If Fassy decides to come back and stay longer, he could actually put some weight on because food is great. At least, most foreigners say so. :D

That pic with doggie is cute.

LOL!!! I actually know a guy with a Tweety bird tattoo. It was ok when he got it at 21, but now he's pushing 40 and it looks a bit naff. :roflmfao:
I can hardly believe that a 34-year old man, like Michael would choose this as his first tattoo.

I'm also curious about the ring. It looks classic and medieval and he's not wearing it in all the pictures.

Love the look on that doggy's face. He's clearly enjoying the Fassbender lovin'.

LOL he wears it on ring finger of right hand. That's where wedding and/or engagement ring goes if you're Orthodox. Of course, he isn't.

The dog is so enjoying his head rub. I would too.

I'm thinking about getting a small tattoo on my ankle but I gotta think about what it will look like 40 years from now :P I won't be getting a smurf or whatever cartoon character ;P

I agree! Not to mention that it's really stupid to get a tattoo on your summer holiday.

Good idea! I love the food too. It's really lovely.

The problem is we don't know what interviewer asked him. It sounds like he didn't watch it before but it's possible he was talking about watching it for the first time with that audience. I could be wrong, English is not my first language :smile1:

Besides in interview I posted, from March 2011, Fassy admitted that he hadn't watched Jonah Hex so everything is possible :D

OT: In case someone is interested, interview with Cary Fukunaga http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C61Xy2yMsHA&NR=1

David Diehl with Croatian Coat of Arms tattoo, if anyone wonders how those look like:

But as he is Croatian , it´s not that strange.

But for Fassy?

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ouch that would not look good :yucky:

Could it be a temporary tattoo? One of those really trashy holiday ones you get on some beach from a sweaty, balding, middle aged hippy where you end up paying a really inflated amount for the extra pleasure of having a crowd of stroppy teenagers watch... actually I just completely made that up, I've never experienced this, ever... and now I'm wondering how I even thought of it.

I agree.

If it´s true I am very disappointed in him.
