As an artist and an admirer of Fassy, I am deeply offended by these two pics. To fantasize is one thing, but to try to bring those fantasies to life through drawings is quite another.Young, I'm thinking boyband member, early 'westlife'.
hmmmm fan art...there are way more lifelike examples but these had me giggling so much ...but you have to be generous as its practice drawing and his face must not be easy to translate(still this is pretty funny for me)

I know what you mean. I was reading an article about Fassbender at work and I guess I had this smile on my face so one of my co workers asked me what I was reading. I was happy to oblige her and she seemed interested until I bought up the movie Shame. She looked at me as if I were the devil and asked why I would want to see a movie like that. I wanted to bop her in the head with the magazine, but Fassy was on the cover and I didn't want to damage it, so I just ended up telling her "he's a really good actor and I like his work."Hi Artlove. I live in the Bible Belt so most of my friends are very...uh...puritanical. It's sad, so I have to talk about Fassy online.None of them know I make my living writing dirty books either. And I haven't been much into fansites before now because I have very little time. I joined Michael fassbender online, took a look around and was immediately overwhelmed and overloaded. I mean, it's great but just...too much. Most fan sites seem that way. This place is perfect though, maybe a few posts a day to read, some pics, some videos, some nice chat, and all organized on one never ending thread. It's perfectly my speed.
There is nothing of interest to me either. So I've spending my time rewatching my Fassbender Netflix queue and any Fassbender clips I find on YouTube. It's driving me nuts waiting for the DVD releases of Shame and A Dangerous Method.Ugh, I'm so bored with the movie choices out there right now ('Friends With Kids' disappointed). And there's only so much of Jane Eyre, XMFC, Fish Tank, Hunger, et al a girl can watch. When I started saying Erik's lines along with him during XMFC last night, I had to shut it off.Looking forward to solving the mystery of his whereabouts this weekend. Well, at least whether he'll be at WonderCon or not.

There is an article somewhere that is either written, or should be, about the flirtation and fixation around hollywood male relationships on screen - how progressive or regressive are the current tropes of representation. And how they may be inflated or not by the vehicle of publicity, the actors, the fans or the marketing of a film in general.
