This might be slightly OT but Nicole Beharie just got cast in a (supporting/lead?) role in Legendary/WB's Jackie Robinson biopic 42 alongside Harrison Ford and Chadwick Boseman. Cool castings happening left and right for Shame actors!

"Despite the scarcity of American films in the competition, Hollywood will still grace Berlinale's red carpet. In special screenings, a few films from the dream factory will be shown out of competition. Producers and actors do use the red carpet in front of the Berlinale Palast as a glamorous springboard to celebrate cinema releases. "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson, for instance, as well as Christian Bale, Uma Thurman, Michael Fassbender and Keanu Reeves are expected in Berlin."

I believe Steve was there last week. I read that somewhere or the other. I think there was a photo of him there, too.

Thought this was cute:

"After the backslapping and the gong-giving, the stars of the 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards retired to do some well-earned partying. The hottest ticket in town was the Weinstein Company’s party at Kitchen Joël Antunes and Le Baron in London. The cast of The Artist were celebrating their armful of awards, while director Michel Hazanavicius was talking about his next project – a completely different, “political” film. Cuba Gooding Jr. was once again hanging out with Naomi Campbell, while Jonah Hill, Michael Fassbender and Ralph Fiennes were ruling the roost on the dance floor."

What I wouldn't do for pictures of this. Oh, Fassy, they can't keep you off a dance floor, can they?

Here is a video of Michael talking about his career, Pitt, and his trip to Hawaii

I love his description. "Frolicking around"...code for getting busy on the dance floor? :graucho::graucho:

It's interesting too how he says his success makes him fearful. I bet that's kind of a true reaction. Once you're nearing the top, there's nowhere to go but down and these big stars must always be haunted by the idea that another big star is coming up behind them. I get kind of the same thing in the writing world...it's so competitive and with success, always, anxiety follows because you're only as good as your latest work. :wondering

^ Plus, the more successful you become, the more other people come out from the bushes and wish to ride your coattails. It's very jarring and probably hard to keep a certain degree of control on "your" bubble and overall normalcy.
