Michael B. Lace wedding bands

Oh a simulpost. It's the size of the band I think. My rings are very comfortable and I wear them together always. And you're welcome. I love them too.

My crown lace is very comfortable, didn't try to lace. My band is florentined and Michael has reflorentined it for me, makes it look brand new. The shinier bands may get scratched, not sure. Snoozle do you have a problem with the shiny part of your bands? PS Your rings are lovely.

I think the rings are extremely sturdy, even the feather wisp bands. I haven't soldered them because I change them around and sometimes put on a hildago band with them.

PS, Michael's is Michael B's son. I've been lucky enough to meet Michael 4 or 5 times. He does a trunk show every year in the beginning of August at Bernie Robbins in Somers Point, NJ. He is larger than life, last time I was there he literally had me draped in everything you could imagine. ONe of my favorite pieces is a sceptor pin, he wears it alot on his ultra bright jackets. Last time I tried it, it was $18,000. And the bracelet I liked was also $18,000. He actually made one woman his acorn style bracelet into an ankle bracelet to wear on the beach....Made me very jealous.

I tried to take a few more pictures so you can see the diamonds inset in the larger crown band, as I said I didn't try on the lace or petite lace, the petite lace is definitely smaller than the lace, 2.8 mm vs 3.2 mm. Mine didn't have a mm measure, but my guess is its definitely the larger width. Its very comfortable, wears well, and its easy to get Michael to reflorentine it or size my necklaces, or even add beads or diamonds later to already purchased necklaces if you want to start out small.

ReRe thanks so much for the additional pictures. YOur rings are just stunning!!!!! I think I need to go to a local jeweler and try on the different ring sizes to see which looks/feels better. You have been a huge help- thank you!!!!!!!!

Snoozle love your set. Once you've been bitten by the Michael B bug it may be hard for you to stop. Have you looked at any of his other than engagement pieces. I have two necklaces and earrings, I never get tired of them.

Snoozle, I love your set. That is the exact set that was my dream engagement/wedding set. DH had other plans and while I love what he got me they're like the polar opposite of what Michael B does with his work. I am a fan and some day hope to acquire some of his pieces.

Yeah!!!!!! I ordered my petite crown lace wedding band today from Pearlman's!!!!!! I can't want to get it!!!!! Thanks so much for all of your help ReRe and Snoozle. Your rings are breath taking and you were very helpful- thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so happy for you. I got my Michael B earrings from Pearlman's. Can you post a picture of the one you ordered and of course when you get it post the real thing. I think your ring will be a great investment. The prices just keep going up.

Leelee, you are right, its hard to capture in the pictures, but the intricacy of his work is unlike anything I've ever seen. He puts this tiny lacework of diamond flowers on the edges of the rings and they wrap around onto the top of the rings...exquisite, with a vintage feel. The diamonds are so tiny and so sparkly, even after years of wearing them everyday, but the prices are a bit daunting. I went to buy another wisp band last week to add to my grouping, it is so so tiny and thin. I originally paid $1200 each in 2000 and thought that was ridiculous then, they are now $2450. I just can't wrap my head around this "wisp" (which is the name of the band) of a ring being that much money.

I upgraded my necklace, from one acorn, to three. Here is a picture of it from Pearlman's. I am also picturing, my holy grail, Michael B piece, a gorgeous platinum and diamond stick pin.

ReRe your necklace and pin are gorgeous!!!!!! I don't know how to post a picture?! It is the petite crown lace wedding band- just like snoozle's. I will post a picture when I get it. DH can help with that!
The prices are very daunting! I can't believe I am getting this sight unseen save the pictures here and on pricescope, pearlmans, and solomon brother. Also, Michael B. has a wonderful website. I just emailed them asking if the plain platinum princess engagement ring would work with my crown petite lace and a wisp. I must be nuts! I have a beautiful Tacori engagement/wedding set! I need to slow down and get the crown lace wedding band in and then go from there. I am quite terrified that I am doomed though!!!!!!! I think from everthing I have heard, Michael B.'s workmanship is amazing- I can hardly wait to get me ring!!!! The only other designer they talk about more is Leon Mege. I just can't help it, I am head over heels in love with the lace by Michael B. Leon's work is stunning, but I had to have the lace!!!!!! Congrat.'s on your new necklace ReRe- it is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReRe,did you get your other wisp band? When you say they are thin, I know they are as they are around 1.7mm. But is it sturdy still? I am so hard on my jewelry! I hate it! I have even bent platinum rings- ugh!
If it helps, Pearlmans did give me a decent discount!!!!!
