Hi Steph, If I were you, I wouldn't sell it because it is such a wonderful bag. I finally have one and love it more every day as it patinas. Vachetta was bright on the leather which made me uncertain to begin with. I was like you thinking doubting and wondering is it too childlike and comparing myself to the model on the Lv website holding the bag. But then I thought well the designer, Grace is not exactly 21 in all respect, but she’s still fabulous. It is a joyful, whimsical illustration and not suppose to be childish so not to worry. I’m also middle aged too and was a fashion designer in my past career. I also have 2 cats and dog, so I had to get it... Haha.
Initially, I couldn't find one here in Australia earlier on this year and after searching everywhere I finally located one in a Lv store in Asia of all places. I got a friend to buy it for me. When I told my SA in Australia that I had finally found one, he was quite shocked. He said they are so rare and he never received it in his own store. But only had the Neverfull versions come in. I agree with the others that the lovely thick canvas and raised texture texture makes me love it that much more. It is of course up to you, but thought you should know before you consider selling as you may not see one again in good condition. Besides, not sure how many years before LV releases another monogram print with such gorgeous happy animals on it. Don’t worry you are not too old at all. Lv is suppose to be for all age groups anyway. We all start to think silly things at a certain age

Enjoy your beautiful speedy should you decide to keep it. X
