You mean this dark blue dot? I think this belongs to the general blue Ink Print. My Keepall XS also has these dark blue spots here and there on the leather. Looks normal to me.

The spots don’t seem to get picked upon in photos but are much more obvious in person. Below is a closer look at one of the more visible spots. I definitely think it’s just part of the design but I’m not sure I like it.

Just received the slender wallet today. Generally speaking I think the color and pattern is beautiful, however there are some spots that give the appearance of a water/grease spot that I am not a fan of. I may end up returning this piece, but crossing my fingers that the trio messenger doesn’t have similar markings.

I got the pocket organizer and might return it as well... The print is all right imo but would much prefer it on canvas. I think it's the grain leather that makes it "greasy". Although I haven't seen the trio messenger in person, it should be fine because of the larger size. Best of luck!

I have just ordered the telephone pouch in the ink watercolour, looks like a WOC but with a strap rather than a chain (which I dislike).
Luckily my phone is small so should fit in.

I really wanted something in this print and would have gone for the Keepall XS but I have only just got the black/damier black/white checks one.
