Men's saumur vs outdoor for women

I have the Outdoor and I get compliments on it all the time. The strap is very comfortable. I don’t think the Samur was available when I got the Outdoor. It would’ve been a tough decision.
Sorry to divert from the OP'a original post, but I'm looking at the Outdoor Messenger for myself- does the strap slip off the shoulder easily? I'm a woman with narrow shoulders and I would wonder if it's slippery. It's such an amazing bag .

I bought the Outdoor messenger a couple of years ago, but returned it. I did love the bag, I just felt it was a bit small for what I was looking for. I haven’t replaced it with another bag, but I would like to add a Monogram Eclipse bag to my collection. I’m always on the lookout for a pre-loved find, because I don’t love the current prices… but I’m really drawn to the Saumur. I hadn’t seen it before! Both look great on you, but I think you made the right choice with the Saumur.

Thank you! I've only been using it for a couple of weeks, but so far I'm really happy with it. Prior to this one, my everyday bag was the Siena crossbody which I didn't love because the thin strap was uncomfortable.

The first couple of days, I was kinda worried that the strap was too loud. I normally don't like stuff that "scream" out their brands, and I felt that the Monogram canvas should have been enough. But since it's black on black lettering, it isn't too bad. I do use a purse organizer because I tend to stuff my purses and I don't want it to get deformed. I like the flap of the Saumur so much more than the zipper in the Outdoors, I don't have to make sure it's closed.

I've seen a few Monogram Eclipse on fashionphile that look good, not sure of the prices though. Good luck with the bag hunt!

I just bought a Saumur like yours--hope it looks as good on me as it does on you! What organizer do you use for it?

I'm in the market for a black crossbody and saw these two in the store. They are men's bags, but I'm wondering what you guys think it's too manly for women? Any feedback on the saumur, how hardy is the leather part? I don't baby my bags, so I would like to know if it's as hardy as the vachetta or the leather on the damier ebene purses. Thank you!

I love both of them on you and I would buy both if I had the funds. I have the Saumur 30, 35 and 43. I called my guy in to show him your post and he gave his seal of approval. He said "get it" and I agree. The real issue is which one? Or both?
