The SA told me to pick a bag (mick pm) and he told me I can special order it. He said they have a new system that lets you customize a bag (within their standards) and if approved by LV then I will have a Damier Ebene mick pm with burgundy lining and he suggested I choose to have my name put on a patch on the inside. He sent the request to Paris and I’m waiting to see if it’ll be approved. I’m sure it will be $$$$ lol

Oh I hope this is real! It would be like in the old days when you could special order bags!!!!!

mmmm to your fingerless glove. and omg that little trunk with the bear! and i love the alzer 55 in eclipse, i have the traditional monogram and i've been pondering what i'd like painted on it. thanks for the awesome pics, the hard sided things are my biggest, and now pretty much only love at LV.

Does anyone have a pic of the Alpha triple pochette or galaxy cardholder from the Galaxy pre-collection? I'm thinking of picking the pochettes up but was informed by my SA that they are very slim and it may be difficult to fit anything inside. They dont have any ready stock left to view and any orders have to be pre-ordered.

I'm also curious to hear that LV is allowing people to do special orders. If they would allow me to order the keepall from the Chapman collection or re-lease that collection, i might just drop a few months of salary on it =x Passing on the white keepall from that collection is probably one of my greatest shopping regrets. *sigh*

Pretty sure the special orders are for things like bags in combos that they don't make, like the District MM/PM in Damier Cobalt or the Dayton MM/PM in Monogram Eclipse or Damier Cobalt. Perhaps LV would approve making those bags in those canvases as a special order, though.

Special ordering past collections, though? I doubt LV is going to go there. Otherwise, they'd be flooded with people wanting bags from probably every single collaboration they've ever had--imagine how many requests they'd get for items from the Supreme collection alone--and it would make those past collections less special.

I can't see LV willing to do special orders on past collection either. I'm gonna ask if it possible to special order a discontinued bags from the permanent line. I really want a Palk backpack!
Ugh...I just realize I wonder if I can get two special order Steamer backpacks. I would love a true red epi backpack in the Steamer backpack. Or a color from the women color lineups...I love the color Coquelicot.

Guys I think we are day dreaming here. Louis Vuitton will never reproduce old collections. This will cannibalize their current collection sales. Special order on existing items with tweaks? Perhaps maybe with approval. I requested last Saturday the Petite Malle in black Epi but with silver hardware. Email sent to Paris for approval and was told expect a 30% increase from price tag.

Picked up the Alpha triple pochette for Christmas. I’m lucky that my SA put it aside for me because there was one in the store. They are slim but you can still put your essential SLGs in the GM and MM.
