I quite like the Damier print bags but I can’t help but feel like LV is churning out limited edition lines far too frequently now.

I know, I love that sac plat bag in black damier! But it does have the feel of “fast fashion”. At least LV bags will hold up over time but there is lots of churn.

Hope so. It’s so frustrating when big companies or celebrities rip off individual artists or small companies it doesn’t take much searching to find whether anything is already out there does it?

On Instagram there is an artist that makes different items and it appears they had this print up on at least a shirt on their insta before LV announced this line. I really don’t know what is true, but that’s the scoop.

I think this could be one of those collections that look better in real life, if that makes sense. And just seeing what @DrTr and @despair wrote about the controversy, it's really disappointing when bigger brands "borrow" from smaller creators, at least give them a shoutout or something.

Yes and if they want to outright copy something, negotiate, buy it, and credit the artist! I would guess if someone did that to LV they would haul them into court to fight the copy. Yikes, I hope it isn’t true. Artists have a tough enough time. And they make the world a more beautiful place.

I have to agree, especially if you are doing pre orders and they run late or take forever. You might be sort of be over it by the time you get it as there is already a new limited edition collection peaking your interest.
