Medium Jodie and Large Hop?

Both bags are based on older BV designs so there’s a classic element to both. But the Hop leans more to iconic BV. I’ve owned the Jodie twice but let it go both times. I felt the strap was bulky and the bag a bit shallow. I’d get the Hop if I didn’t have medium and large original Veneta hobos.

I would second this but also suggest to check out the classic veneta. They are a bargain on the pre loved market and truly iconic. A easier to use zipper on the classic imo. While I love the slouch of the Jodie, in a larger size I would go with Hop. The khaki looks amazing.

It’s gorgeous isn’t it. Wondering if the Kaki is as versatile as the Fondant to be worn all year round. We only get a few days of summer here!

I’d go for fondant over khaki! The fondant is beautiful and very classic bottega

I have a Cabat in the colour shadow, which is a slightly lighter shade of khaki I guess, and I find it to be an extremely versatile, year round choice.
(I also love BV emerald green, raintree and moss if you haven’t checked those out - not sure the hop is made in all of the colours, as some are seasonal).

While fondant is stunning and rich, I personally always gravitate towards greens.

So bit of an update. I bought the large Hop in Fondant as I know it’ll go with everything in my wardrobe. Love the Kaki so will get something in it later in the year. Large Hop doesn’t come in black unfortunately.
