Maurice vs Clemence leather

And yes how do you guys clean all these bright or light colors?? Is it a problem ??

Clemence is my favourite H leather, however the Maurice looks great if you like a more structured bag. Love the colour. Rouge piment is a great red. Most of my bags are neutral but I have a few brighter colours to add interest to some outfits.

I have a picotin 22 in Maurice and i LoVe it! My Clemence Evelyn PM has the wider grains and is definitely slouchier. The Maurice leather feels a bit drier, with smaller grains but it’s got a stiffness that holds my picotin up even without my insert, and that’s saying something since Clemence picotins tend to become puddles if you set it down without an insert.

My store offer me a bag in this leather today. For the same bag same size, Maurice cost a little more than Clemence. I don’t have a bag in Maurice so I look it up…

Received this today the evelyne 33 in rouge piment in taurillon Maurice leather.

The leather : I am new to this leather. It looks and feel very similiar to the Clemence leather but a bit more structure. Is Maurice more durable than Clemence?

The color: Rouge Piment. Its like almost deep red color. Any idea how to carry this color? My dresscode is always casual day and night (jean,tshirt,jacket and sneaker)
Any thoughts? Keeper?

Love the look, the color and the structure. And I agree it looks like it would go with all basic, neutral colors. Definitely a keeper!

Hi to all. I have been offered a 24/24 in 29cm I. Taurillon Maurice and I am wondering whether to get it or not. I don’t know Maurice at all and I was worried it would be even heavier than Clemence. Does anyone have a 24/24 in Maurice? What do you think of it?
