Received this today the evelyne 33 in rouge piment in taurillon Maurice leather.

The leather : I am new to this leather. It looks and feel very similiar to the Clemence leather but a bit more structure. Is Maurice more durable than Clemence?

The color: Rouge Piment. Its like almost deep red color. Any idea how to carry this color? My dresscode is always casual day and night (jean,tshirt,jacket and sneaker)
Any thoughts? Keeper?

This is gorgeous, both color and leather. I'm not very familiar with maurice leather but I love how it does look more structured than clemence.

As for how to wear it, I think this color and style would fit very easily with your casual style of jean, tshirt, jacket and sneaker. I think this color would match nearly ever color scheme year round as well.

So, basically I think she's a KEEPER!

Yes, first thing i noticed is the bag is indeed more structure and the grains is more fine looking. As the little care booklet reads the leather will soften over time.
This red color is a bit mat looking, not really bright which i like.

It looks beautiful.. the color is beautiful red..I have a kind of similar issue going on.. even I wanna know more about this leather ?? And confused between 2 colors.. if I can get any suggestions??

Depends on if you want a statement color that pops (first) or a more low-key choice (second). As for the leather, here’s how Hermès officially describes Maurice:

Taurillion Maurice
Description: A new bullcalf with a comforting, small, round and well-defined grain. Offers an alternative to Clemence, with better hold.
First appeared in the collections: 2017
Appearance: Small, round, full and fairly regular grain. Satiny, wide range of colors
Feel: Quite neutral, softens over time
Hand: Supple and very responsive, well-rounded hand
Change over time: Keeps its responsiveness, the surface becomes more satiny

My first mini Evelyne is Maurice leather. Absolutely in love with it. It's more structured and holds the shape better better than Clemence. I actually like the texture better too. Red is like new black! love this color. Will goes with anything too. Enjoy your new H.

Thank you so much for all the help.. I am loving both colors lol.. that’s y confused. Not sure if the bring red will go with everything .. it’s the rouge de coeur.. but it’s an amazing pop color. Love it .. The dark one is like Maroonish shade .. will kind of go with everything. So kind of confused
