Matching Watch Hardware Color to Jewelry

This used to bother me, because I only wear gold jewelry. Now it does not even matter as long as love the bag.

LOL! I used to buy only silver hw bags b/c I only had silver jewelry BUT then I loved a gold hw bag that I had to get. Soooo, I bought a two-tone MK Astor Buckle Bangle so that I could wear both gold and silver and feel okay about it !

it used to but i got over it, especially seeing how good it looks when they did it on what not to wear. Like they said, mixing metal colors (in jewelry, hardware, shoes, clothes) makes an outfit modern. When everything is too "matchy-matchy" it can make a look seem dated.

I used to not like mixing metals. Now I can do it without being bothered by it, but it took a long time. As a previous poster said, mixing looks more modern, and matchy-matchy looks dated.

It used to bother me a lot. I wear mostly silver jewelry and most hardware is gold. I finally decided that I was going to miss out on a lot of beautiful purses if I kept that up. So, unfortunately for my bank balance and closet storage, I got over it.

I only like "silver toned" jewelry, watches and hardware on bags. My engagement ring and jewelry are all platinum so I buy watches that are stainless steel or white gold to match. I don't like mixing metals, but that is a personal preference.
