Matching Watch Hardware Color to Jewelry

I tend to stick to watches that have the 2 tone combo. That way, it doesn't matter what color metal I have on. Some bracelets I wear are 2 tone and then I mix all silver bracelets or all gold bracelets. I like to wear alot of bracelets and it usually it comes down to my favorites at the time.

I have matched my handbag HW to my jewelry. I have several Prada bags with pronounced "YG" hardware so I wear my YG jewelry. Works out good since I don't wear my YG as much as my WG jewelry.

Yes, I have yellow gold, two toned, and stainless watches to match my jewelry. I also dont like to wear my white J12 unless I am wearing silver or white gold. I guess I am OCD in that way. I am also that way with my bags, I really hate it when my hardware on the bag does not match my jewelry. I wish I wasnt this way, but i cant help it!:weird:

I only like "silver toned" jewelry, watches and hardware on bags. My engagement ring and jewelry are all platinum so I buy watches that are stainless steel or white gold to match. I don't like mixing metals, but that is a personal preference.

nope, i just wear whatever jewellery I want. some pieces like my platinum dbty 3 stone bracelet stay on 24/7. i mostly wear white gold or pink gold. my bags tend to have either pewter or silver hardwear anyways, but if they do have gold hardware I dont bother to thin about it matching...i kind of prefer it not to anyways!

I like to coordinate hardware.

In a pinch, the bag hardware can be "off," from the jewelry (although it must match my shoe hardware, if any!) but I personally would feel self-conscious if any of the following were unmatched: earrings, necklace, bracelets, watches, rings, brooches

Does it bother you ladies if you wear like silver and your bags have gold hardware? I need to get past this lol

It used to but I got over it, especially seeing how good it looks when they did it on What Not to Wear. Like they said, mixing metal colors (in jewelry, hardware, shoes, clothes) makes an outfit modern. When everything is too "matchy-matchy" it can make a look seem dated.
