Wow that was FAST! Congrats on the bag, it's so nice!! :flowers:

Now I really want a Massaccesi but am starting to second guess myself--purple? Or turquoise? Or black? Gah!!!

I second guessed myself about the bag and the color. I love the purple it is rich sophisticated and feminine. It is something that I can wear year round. It has a smokey look to it in some lights and a rich look in other. I used to only have 2 colors of bags in my closet black and brown. I decided to move away from only carrying those colors in bags. I now have a yellow, pumpkin soft orange, brown, redblack, eggplant, anthracite metallic, pewter metallic, cognac, gray and purple. I love the purple it is a really great shade of purple. I am definitely getting an orange Zhoe next I have the swatches and the orange is really pretty.

I am pleased I finally chose the purple. I looked at the teal, olive, black and the purple. The purple was on the bottom of my choice and it moved to the top and I am really pleased I selected that color.

Di, since you have a few swatches, will you start a new thread and post the swatches? Please?:hugs::heart:

The Divina is just fab! Love it! and the leather looks rich and soft, I wish I could touch it.
I'm with you on the purple bags (it's my fave color for the bags), purple is so versatile that I wear it all year round.

Here is the mod shot I have been promising. I am not that good at taking them and my dear husband has no idea about the bag obsession or the cost so I can't ask him to take a picture. He would just think I was being a little crazy. (He thinks leather handbags cost around a $100). I have decided that it is better that he believes that is all they cost!!!! makes it a lot easier for me. ;)

This bag fits a lot of stuff my laptop, kindle, wallet, sunglasses, check book, makeup bag, hairbrush, pencil/pen zip around holder and a couple of other odds and ends. A large pashmina scarf, a small messenger handbag and a water bottle. All of this with room to spare. This bag has a depth of 7 inches.
Also I have a small frame 5'4" (on my tall days!!!!) and a US size 4 that will give you some reference for the picture I post.

Dearest djfmn, you so are lovely!!! I really like this style. To me it is very specific. It would be ideal for plane travel or a weekend getaway in the car. It would be perfect for someone that needs a workhorse bag, such as a business professional that wants to look chic, yet has to go meet clients with a large amount of paperwork, laptop, portfolio, or architectural renderings, etc (I just see a tube of architectural renderings sticking out of Divina, ha!) I also think it would make a great Mom bag and keep her very organized.

As always, you look fabulous! Thank you for posting your mod shot, showing that petite ladies can carry off the larger styles beautifully!

p.s. I love your necklace!
