I LOVE the Massaccessi bags and have been following these threads for weeks, but I'm nervous about a purchase over mail... what if I don't like it once I wear? Are there boutiques in the US I can visit to try on the Minerva, Divina, etc?
Also - n00b question - what are "BE" handbags?
What are the 'standard' colors we can order the Minnie in?
Hi elisian, welcome!right now there are no boutiques, every bag is hand-made to order for each specific client. There are a lot of mod shot pictures here and there will be more arriving, so that helps, as well as the detailed descriptions. There is a return policy on the website. Mr. Massaccesi used to make bags for many companies over the course of many years, BE was one of them, now he designs for his own brand, and all is good in the world, heeee! This is his debut season!
I think it is the brand Belen Enchandia.Ah, got it! So you all think this company's on the way up to greatness
I still don't know what BE stands for... haha. Help me out?

SUCH a good question dearest lenie -------- you know I wasn't sure until I saw her. I will definitely love both.
I still adore my two staples of Taupe and Black for day to day. I love the original Minerva, for me it is perfect in every way. But I would love a Minnie too for quicker errands or date night. A work day when I don't have paperwork, etc. I love both styles very much.
I believe there is not one Massaccesi that I am not going to love! It is just wonderful to love all these styles!
LoveHandbags already posted comparison pics maybe around late December or early January. I'm not sure but I think it was in the main Massaccesi thread.Curious. Does anyone have both sizes to post pics to compare? I am loving the Minerva but not sure of which size. I am not a huge bag kinda gal. I also don't carry a lot so it would be empty anyway. Lol

Thank you so much!!! I fell asleep trying to find the thread and page. Lol. This helps a ton. Do you find the strap drop similar to the reg size Minerva?Hi pandorabox, I wanted to post for you quickly before I leave for work, here is a link that compares sizes:

If you do not carry a lot, I think the Minnie (Mid-size) will suit you pefectly. It does me.
The Regular size is great when I need to carry files home from work. My files do not fit in the Minnie, but the regular size is super. (These are paper files only, I do not carry my laptop in my fine leather handbags.)
Hope this helps, have a great day!

Lovie, just out of interest, if you don't carry your laptop in your bag, do you just tote it under your arm or do you pop it into something else?

Hi VannieBod, luckily I do not have to tote it daily. When I do, I carry it in my arms like a schoolbook.
LOL, I love that, falling asleep while searching for handbag information sounds like something that could happen to me... especially lately. The drop is the same, I just measured mine for you and it is about 10.5, 11 inches. Fabulous drop particularly in the Winter months. The single strap stays nicely on the shoulder too (for both sizes).
