Oh wow! I didn't realize that about rhodium. Thanks for letting me know. I"ll have to do more research. What do you think of having them plated once a year? I wouldn't mind having that done annually but any sooner and that would start to become too bothersome.

Hm... And I thought my biggest decision in diamond stud shopping was the cut, color, clarity! lol

Update: Just did a little more research on rhodium and from what I"m reading it says it can't prevent nickel from going into your system entirely. I think if I continue with some redness I'm going for the platinum! But so far since I"ve loosened the backs of my earrings it seems better so I'll give it a little longer....

Id definitely stick with plat. It's the only metal besides stainless I can have in my ears.
