Obviously this thread is old, but I LOVE Sylvie. I used to look at bags on Gucci's website for a few years but nothing fancied my tastes. I saw Sylvie and had to have it!! The white was not in store so I ordered it online and am so so so happy with my purchase. It is by far my favorite bag, only for dressy moments. It is white and can get dirty easily. The hardware is gorgeous, prints stunning. It is really a signature piece and nothing compares. I carried it recently at my boys' birthday party and got so many compliments. My only issue is that the fabric used to make the bow, it is long enough to wear cross body which is cool, but it is very very hard to keep it as a bow and it creases like crazy. Every time I make a nice bow it opens up and I end up roaming around with the belts hanging. It doesn't even come out! I wish the fabric were not so slippery and it didn't crease so much. I am planning to iron mine and maybe will put a pin or staple the bow because I just don't see any other way, but I don't want to damage it! I really wish Gucci had done better with this because the bag looks even better with the bow. Other than that, this is a truly gorgeous bag and you will not regret your purchase. I saw other colors in the store but fell in love with white. Only for dressy occasions though.
