Marco Bicego yellow gold question

Hi, I have Bicego’s Lunaria piece and didn’t notice anything black on gold. However I don’t frequently wear it and store properly so this might be why. I’d suspect the black marks could be dirt/dust gathering in the grooves. Did you ask the staff at the store where the piece was so blackened they had to remove it? I’d ask them what it was they had to clean

The SA said she had no idea but that clearly someone had done something to it (she showed me it had been returned b/c there was a return sticker on it). I think they were sending it back out to MB for repair. Dust/dirt in the grooves makes perfect sense and can be easily cleaned. That doesn’t worry me. It was the dark spots on the piece in the store and then MB confirming that they’ve had a handful of pieces sent back to them the last few years with said black spots that worries me. And their not being sure what’s causing it. I think I’m going to take the chance though and hope that if something happens, MB will take care of it.

I have some Lunaria pieces, Africa pieces, and Siviglia pieces. None of them have developed black spots. I hope this is not something we have to look out for in the future!

No sorry - I don't have any mixed beads bracelets. I have the long Africa necklace with the brushed gold and turquoise beads (if that's what you mean by mixed). My experience has been excellent so far.
