aww studio that is funny!! yeah everything about the player is great...easy big buttons & she's already dropped it and you can't tell...but i bought her a new clifford story and she was soo excited about hearing it on her mp3 player and now i can't get it to work  i'll just have to put them on at my bff's house...it's not that big of a deal since we're over there alot but still it's the point...that stinkin lil thing sells for like $60 bucks i should be able to do it at home if i want to...lol

umm...i think i might do that...which do you guys think would protect it more the hard one or the rubber one? i almost think the rubber one would be easier to grip...kwim?

These rubber ones have cute colors: http://store.apple.com/us/product/TU213ZM/A?n=ipodnano4&fnode=MTY1NDA4Mg&mco=Mjc5MTU4Mg&s=topSellers

And I think you're right, a rubber case would be easier to grip - you'd have one techy 6-year-old on your hands, mm! iPods are actually really durable in and of themselves - I've dropped mine before, and besides a couple scuffs it's worked fine. I think a rubber case would be adequate.
