i think the one thing this has over a robe is that if your eating cookies, the crumbs wont fall into your cleavage.

woman winks at camera. weird 1980's magic pixiedust editing...transform to a new shot of the woman sitting in a recliner eating cookies...
woman: " oh dear, blast these cookie crumbs and my lowcut shirt and push-up bra. how can i ever enjoy my delicious cookies in peace, and stay warm and happy? hmmm i think my gal pal is supposed to call too...we're going to exchange recipies"
enter the blanket-skanette-slankette-thing...magically engulfing the woman in haute-couture draping and wonderful warm fashionable fleece!
woman: "oh my! my prayers have been answered! no more cold, it's like im at a day spa. and look at that, no cookie crumbs near the 'sista's'. plus it makes me look so chic and slim, especially after i eat this whole plate of cookies...no one will be able to tell."
woman sits down with cookies, phone rings, narrator voice enters
narrator: "and she can answer the phone?! call now to get your slankey-blankey-schmankey! and you'll never have to answer the phone in a blanket EVER again"
