that's cool. i actually tried oliveoil on a whim because i ran out of makeup remover late one nite....but it works great as a moisturizer too (and i have really oily skin). doesn't make me break out or anything. and then i used tea tree oil on breakouts. works greatbl, actually the concept is this, oil breaks down oil. I was SUPER skeptical at first, but having tried it, I couldn't believe the difference it makes in your skin. DHC and MAC make excellent cleansing oils too, but they're a lil on the $$ side, esp the DHC.
you should start a savings ticker. it's kinda an encouraging thought when you log on here and can add $$ to it until you save up enoughI hear ya junie...I feel that way about the mahina....it seems so out of reach and I want it so much that it seems an impossibility. Who knows though...probably take about 3 months of hard core saving...
ok here is the formula... now mind you, I have tried it with EVOO (extra virgin olive oil), but next time I make it I'm going to try Sunflower Seed Oil because I've been told thats even better for the skin:
If you find that your skin is dry, use more Sunflower Seed Oil and less castor. I mix and store my mixture in a clean four-ounce flip-top bottle for convenience. When you go to replenish your oil blend, I suggest cleaning your bottle thoroughly with dish soap or the dishwasher. Better yet, if you can replace the bottle, this is ideal. You want to be extremely cautious in introducing bacteria to the bottle.
- Oily Skin: Try a blend of 30% Castor Oil to 70% Sunflower Seed Oil.
- Balanced Skin: Try a blend of 20% Castor Oil to 80% Sunflower Seed Oil.
- Dry Skin: Try a blend of 10% Castor Oil to 90% Sunflower Seed Oil.
i thought about doing a weight loss ticker for my 10 lbs i wanna loose but i feel kinda silly :shame:
