Who bought the Truffle Stam? I hope someone here. It is soooooo beautiful!
Great deal, too. You don't see that color very often. I love the contrasting stitching.

I am wanting Cold Stone cupcakes!! I may have to swing by there....lol...I have a bunch of gift cards from CS. Perfect timing.

I called and spoke with the manager of the store I bought those boots from, Tad. He said there was nothing he could do but he's going to check with the owner and call me tomorrow. He tried to say, "Our policy is on our website" and I said, "Yes, but I didn't order off the website. I ordered over the phone, and I was NOT told anything about it being final sale." His response? "Yes, well, we normally do tell people that but it's possible the associate you spoke with didn't." Dude, these were $350 boots! At least give me a flippin' store credit or s/t!

weak. that's the sa's and ultimately the store's fault. not yours. i would keep fighting it. eventually, it'll be easier for them to give you want you want rather than have this be an ongoing problem to deal with, kwim?

Thanks, Tad. I sure hope you're right. He made some lame comment about them getting spring inventory in any day and not having boots in inventory any more - how exactly is that my problem?? Sorry to vent, ladies. Back to bags!! I hope someone here nabbed that truffle stam - the color was GORGEOUS!!!!

i'm amazed! this manager is just not slick at all. his excuse are so lame and pathetic. i really would've laughed at him if he tried to offer these up as excuses to me. fight the man, pm!

i've always liked the truffle stam. i usually don't like contrast stitching, but this combo was so pretty.

Roro, nice score with that Hudson. The price was way too good to pass up and I'm crossing my fingers it shows up perfect for you too.

PM, holy crap I would have caused a little but of a ruckus, I think. They should have ABSOLUTELY offered you a store credit. If they don't tell you final sale then they kind of can't treat it as such and if they do then they can lose a looot of customers. What store was it if you don't mind me asking?

Rachie, it's a boutique called Mona Moore. They're actually located in Canada. The guy was like, "You did get these at a substantial discount" as if that was going to make them fit, lol. Bottom line: they didn't disclose their policy and if they HAD, I wouldn't have bought. Period. Thanks for getting me appropriately riled up, girls! I'm ready to fight the power!!

I had the same thing happen at J Crew. No one told me anything about final sale and I went to return a dress and looked at the receipt and like laughed. I brought it in and told them calmly that no one told me it was final sale and I would like to return the dress if you would like for me to continue shopping with them.

I just checked out the boutique - they have some great prices on shoes. Nowhere on these sale shoes does it say FINAL SALE or anything - only in the policies section in teeny tiny letters does it say sale is final. That is LAME to the max =/
