I ordered a Black/Blu regular size Lady. It seems like a difficult combo to find, too, so that makes it even worse. To top it off, there is a severe lack of stockists for Canada! Just Holt Renfrew and Ssense for the whole country.



Yes. I guess the lesson here is to never get your hopes up, even after paying for it.

oh no!! that is truely horrible!! i can't believe that they went as far as charging you and then not come through with delivering the product to you.

the black blue combo is a lovely one, and it's a real shame that you won't be getting this bag. i hope they will compensate you somehow for not fulfilling your order.

So it looks like no Lady bag for me. Even though my order went through successfully, I got an order confirmation, got an invoice, AND my credit card was charged, there was an "inventory problem" and there isn't a bag for me. This sucks!!!

Ugh!!! Was this MG? I hope they are guaranteeing you a bag for the next round. Can't even begin to tell you how disappointed I am with MG and their customer service.

I am so sorry about this. I am not surprised sick a small company is having so many growing pains, but I am sorry you are caught in it. I like the other poster's idea of paying them for one in the next restock on a presale basis.

That sounds extremely disappointing and frustrating for you. Perhaps you can request for them to reserve the same order for you during their next restock (without you having to go through the stress and madness), and at the same price?

Update: So MG did make it right in the end. I have a Black/Flamma Lady reserved for me (no competing with everyone else on the website) when they get more of this particular combination in "early September". They also threw in a matching Large Wallet, since they cannot get my desired Black/Blu colour. I wonder if this means they're not making any more?!

Yaaay! So glad to hear that!! That's great customer service! A similar thing happened to me with my order, but it was with a boutique. They did nothing to make it right, all I got was an apology. On top of not being able to fulfill my order, they charged my card a second time for another person's order! If I didn't catch it, I don't know if/when they would have. Again, they did nothing. I"m glad it worked out for you.

Early September for another relaunch, huh? Seems like MG is cranking out these bags and that may have something to do with the decline in quality. It's sad because the whole reason there weren't that many is because of the insistence on quality.

I don't know about an actual full-on relaunch. The MG person just said that they would have availability for the Black/Flamma regular Lady in early September.
