Thanks! It's gold (oro?). I bet it's really pretty with pewter too. I'm a little nervous given how large it is, but I have a cammello tote and a couple of vachetta bags so I've kind of learned not to let the marks here and there bother me. The beginning if the patina process can definitely look rough though.

Does anyone have a mod shot of the large saffiano tote. I am wondering if it is much smaller than the large smooth leather
Can you show what you did to shorten the strap? I really like that look with this bag. 😉
Hi Msbuffy100! Here are a few pics to illustrate how I shorten the strap:
1) unbuckle strap
2) slide strap down so that the highest hole on the strap can be fastened on the the lowest round buckle. You should have two loose buckles above.
3) slide the leather loop down until it touches the top of the bucket. Pull strap to tighten if needed.
4) finished look
