How is your saffiano bucket holding up? Do you use it daily! It's so beautifulHi ladies!
I recently got my first MG bag and this is my first post here. So excited. I briefly went through this thread and want to share my bucket bag in saffiano leather with you. It is exclusive to Barney's and I am glad to get it in saffiano leather since I am not a very careful person (to clothes, bags, etc, etc...). I didn't see many pictures about saffiano bucket bag here so hope you guys will like mine.
I also bought a red bag organizer after taking suggestion here.

I use it daily and it has been... 4 or 5 months. It's been holding up pretty well and really carefree. It has the same 'plastic' feeling as the new veg tanned leather does, but more structured even after using. I do like the black veg tanned leather a lot, but for a bag in this size, scratches are inevitable and I can't deal with scratches... Saffiano is just as good as the veg tanned, in my opinion.
For other leather options. I think veg tanned is very pretty in lady bag, and calf coated ones are good in buckets.
I see you asked for more photos, there are almost no wear on my bag, except one corner which happens for other leather options too, and it looks like the day I received from Barney's.

Since you are debating the sizes... I think I need to point out that many users sold their regular bucket to exchange for a smaller one... I read the discussion somewhere, maybe the bucket thread?? There are tons of photos of large buckets online and to me that is more 'authentic' Mansur Gavriel look, but with the depth of the bag, it's sometimes annoying to get your stuff in and out, especially when you don't use an organizer... Moreover, people complains the curved (bended) back side on the regular bucket, which I can totally understand. I notice the back side curved in where my butt hits.. (sorry, I don't know how to explain...). It happens often when I do cross body and not tying the bag.
I am just too lazy to do anything (sell and repurchase) at this point and I'm still happy about the regular size as everyday bag and travel bag (maybe not safe??). But I think you might want to consider those factor too.
I attached a picture of me with the regular bucket bag... I'm 5''5'. To me the size looks OK.
No matter what size you ended up getting, you won't be disappointed.

I can fit iPad mini and regular iPad with no trouble. For a Macbook Pro 13'', the edge will show and It won't be pretty to carry like that, in my opinion.
Laptops do fit better in Lady bag for sure.
