I agree it is luck. But I am speaking just from my experience. I have had 6 different MG bags from them. All flawed. And my friend had two both flawed. Another friend is happy with hers from them but I wouldn't have been. So perhaps I'm just picky.

Oh, thats strange. I'm very picky about my bags too, I guess I'm really lucky then
they actually offered the 10% discount outright (without me asking for it) so might be something you girls can take note of the next time you purchase from NAP
if it were a small crease, I would have accepted the discount without a second thought. back on the bag hunt now.. good luck to all of us! and thanks girls for being so so helpful x
They did the same with me but then I pressed them. And said I'd take it for 20% off they said no and I said well you can either reduce by 20% or keep getting this damaged back back over and over because that was the second time I'd received the same damaged bag over a few weeks so it was clearly one that was being returned over and over. They ended up agreeing (just to be rid of it I think).
My bucket bag is here!!! I am so excited that I had to share my joy It looks good so far except for creases here and there. I think a mini would fit me much better. Still loving my first MG piece, indeed #happygirlhappybag
Now I just have to decide if I want to condition and waterproof my bag or not. Decisions decisions...

I just received the mini bucket in cammello rosa from Envoy of Belfast and it's absolutely beautiful. I'm not sure about the size but not sure about the regular being too big. On another note, I still got to decide between keeping the bucket or the black/flamma tote. I can't afford to keep both and don't want to send one back and regret it later and have to go on a bag hunt again.
This is so tedious, never in my life have I been faced with something like deciding on handbag. It's ridiculous loool

I hope this isn't true about NAP. I have two canvas bags arriving today. A regular and a mini blue.
I rarely use mine. The only thing I have put in it is my cell phone. The leather is so stiff that when I've put more things in it, it seems to get completely deformed. My keys won't fit and even a regular lipstick makes it deformed. In my opinion I wouldn't bother to buy this brand of pouch by itself, I would go for another brand. I also have a large tote and a mini canvas and have tried to put the pouch in the mini canvas and it barely fits sideways. It is 8.25 " x 5.5 " I put it in the regular way and it kept getting bending.
hello! my very first post on Purse Blog (: Was thankful that I was awake at 3 am (Singapore time) and managed to happily snatched up a Bucket Bag in Black/Flamma from Net-A-Porter. been looking for it for forever, and the timezone differences make camping out at the Mansur Gavriel website during restocks very difficult.

due to the natural state of the leather, I understand that it is inevitable that there will be some scratches / veins! but the bag that was sent to me a few days ago had a rather thick, long (almost the entire width of the bag) line running across the bagI am not sure if it is the veining of the leather (which I will be happy to keep) or it is defective. has anyone encountered this on their bags before?
I also noticed this along the bottom of my black backpack. Although everything else about the backpack was perfect, it wasn't creased or crushed. I thought that it was a natural marking from the leather. I would say that this is more pronounced however, I would probably return or try to exchange it.

Today I found the Bucket Bag in black/flamma and immediately bought it but I still can not decide whether I should keep it or not.
I already have an Alexander McQueen Padlock Bucket in black. Do I need a second black bucket bag? My favorite color would be brandy but it is hard to get even one Mansur Gavriel so I could not pass the black one.
Need some more nights to decide I guess. Any ideas what you would do?
I would wait until you see it because it is so beautiful. You may find that that style is different enough that you would want to swap between both purses. If not, go for your dream color in the brandy -I might recommend PS Dept if you are having some trouble getting your hands on one
