Another thing that is so interesting is how the leather on these bags differ so much. This canvas bag the leather is thinner and much less structured than the regular leather. I can tie the tie with ease as it seems it is so much softer right away. I also had a tumbled leather(and promptly returned it) It was so thin, and seemed totally cheap. I was shocked when I received it. And then my saffiano tote is thick, structured leather and looks and feels high end, the regular leather bucket also feels the same.

Hi! MsBuffy! I'm thinking of getting a mini bucket and I am 5'6" tall. How tall are you and does it fit all your stuff? :smile1:

Thank you ladies for the intel. I tried to order the mini bag for $495 at Bg.com just now but someone beat me to it :-(. I only found out when I pressed the submit button! There is a larger version of the black for 595 if anyone is interested. Grab it fast. I dont mind preordering for the mini somewhere. If anyone has intel, pls share! Im always a day late lol . I just ordered the large black/flamma tote from Net A Porter UK site. I really like the camel bucket bag but not sure bucket bags will fit into my lifestyle, plus it its young to go out of trend sometime soon where the tote is well a tote and all round classic. I found the bucket to be more of a casual bag tonal not sure how many outfits i could pair it with in that colour.

Also, does anybody know where or how some bags seem to come with the branded peach coloured boxes and some not?

Buying directly from MG it will arrive in a branded box. NAP definitely don't, just their standard black boxes if requested.

Also I don't see bucket bags necessarily going "out" any time soon, they've been around for years from various manufacturers. MG didn't invent the style (not that I'd care if they did go out, I buy bags I like not what's in fashion or for what others think of it).

Creatures of comfort in California are taking preorders for lots of styles. The creatures of comfort in New York will put your name on list but their California location actually charges your account. They will send you a list of what is still available. Jinny also has a few red calf mini buckets available at this moment for shipment. They are $610. Boyds I'm Philadelphia has a large red bucket. Hope that helps. If you keep calling stores, they are definitely out there , especially totes and canvas!

I'm 5'7. It never makes a difference to me how tall anyone is, it is all in how you like your own bags. Plus some have shorter and longer bodies than others. I like a certain strap drop and very few are even long enough for me. (this one is not) For me the regular bucket is HUGE. I am not a thin person so to have that bag in addition to my hips.. not gonna happen. I planned to use the mini as a quick run to the store bag and stuff like that. I did grocery shop this morning and I couldn't believe how light it is. I use my LV pochette plenty for errands and the MG strap is a tiny bit wider, but even at times the pochette will annoy me. The MG did not. I'm liking it even more than I thought I would.
I just need to find something to put my keys and phone in and I'll be all set. (don't want my keys scratching up the bottom and I don't want my phone going all over the bag) I did try to put the detachable wallet from my large saffiano tote and it barely fits upright. It was bending so I'll try something else.

I wish I need the Creatures of comfort NY location doesn't charge your account. I have a large Black/Marina coming in a few days from the LA store that I no longer need. Oh well.

COC also doesn't do returns, so you have to sure you want the bag you buy from them.

Gorgeous! Your collection has convinced me I need a tote to add to mine (large black royal bucket and mini canvas royal bucket). If anyone sees the small size tote please let me know. :smile1:
