Just give them a call or send an email! I received a message from them today that they got some mini mini buckets (tumble and coated) that came in along with a couple (at least 1) of regular buckets! 😊

For anyone else interested, Shop Jinny will have some bags arriving this week, latest next week! Totes, regular buckets, mini buckets and mini mini buckets. Call or email them as preorders are filling up fast! 👍

They are a reputable store in my neighborhood. I got the same call today! They have a bunch of mini minis. MG must have just shipped out a lot of orders because I got two calls today from waiting lists!

I asked them on live chat before posting and was told all sold out.

Interesting they have waiting lists though because I asked about preorders or waiting lists before last drop and they said they don't do that. I've found them ok to buy from in the past but seems their customer service isn't the best of late.

Etc. on PS Dept has pre sales for Nov - Dec delivery. If you message the store directly, they can reserve bags for you. They have a lot of regular bucket bags left still! Some colours that are left - cammello/dolly, cammello/orange, black/flamma

I just got the mini backpack in black/black-- and I'm still not sure if I love it as much as my bucket bag. It's a little bit smaller than I had thought- It holds a water bottle, wallet, sunnies, and a scarf/small sweater pretty well, but that's about it. Generally-- this is about all that I want to carry on a weekend running around and doing stuff. I got the bag for this purpose, because my large bucketbag was getting heavy as it fills with stuff, and it's nicer for day trips/errands to have the backpack. I love carrying it as a shoulder bag, with both straps slung over one shoulder. I do think that it's a little nicer than the huge large backpack, since I'm not in school or anything I never wanted something that was too big. I have also noticed that the straps don't adjust the way I really want them to. I like to wear my backpacks pretty low, so the straps are not long enough for me and there's no real way to adjust them properly the way the rivets/holes are positioned. I am hoping that with some time the leather will stretch a little and soften so that the bag hits me more properly. (FYI I'm 5'7" with pretty broad shoulders).

As for the leather-- with the coated inside it's a lot stiffer than I'd like. In fact, I'm thinking of trading or selling it in order to get a raw interior. The bag doesn't really tie shut because it is so stiff, and the flap on top is difficult to secure- you have to thread the drawstrings through a loop on the bucket part of the bag, and then also through a loop on the top flap portion of the bag, and it only really works well if the backpack isn't very full. The interior pocket is laughably small. I don't even know what you could fit inside it other than an ID and a few credit cards, and then it's so stiff that the cards are difficult to get out. Why they bothered to add a zipper to it is a little confusing because there's no need to zip it shut. Again, maybe with a few more months of wear it will be softer.

In comparison, I have the large bucket bag in black/raw, and I absolutely love it. I've had it for about 8 months now and with daily use it's developed a great patina and has softened a LOT. It's buttery soft now, without the stiffness that comes with the coated interior, and it doesn't loose it's shape like the pebbled leather, in fact, I think it's just about perfect now and I've done nothing to condition it at all. I can fully close the top with the drawstrings because the raw interior has let the bag soften with use over time. The weight of it is a dream-- I used to carry this vintage pebbled leather Celine bucket bag that weighed so much, I replaced it with the MG bucket and it's perfect.

thanks for your post. because of your comments, i decide to get a large flamma/flamma backpack in calf leather since i already have a large bucket. somehow i always have loads of stuff to carry.

IKR, it's disgusting! I have been reporting the fakes I see on eBay but they take ages to remove the listings. The longer the listing is up the higher the chance an unsuspecting person buys it! ):

Thanks for all the replies!

I placed my order over the phone and I was surprised they charged me shipping (since it's free 2 day shipping online) and didn't allow me to request to have the bag sent to another address besides my billing before the order was even processed.

But they were still very helpful since I was on the waiting list. Excited to finally have the mini mini! :D

Los Angeles Creatures of Comfort is taking preorder for Aug. delivery, they had a list for reg bucket and mini bucket, many colors, i can't remember all the colors. I was there to pick up my mini bucket.

i noticed the price has increased for the large bucket bag (from $495 to $595), and the black mini (from $460 to $495). however the preorder (Aug delivery) for the mini in red and pink is cheaper than the MG website ($610 to $495)

couldn't resist a good deal...just preordered the mini bucket in red :yahoo:
