Mansur Gavriel Bucket vs LV Noe

I prefer the look of Noe but I think the MG bucket bag is a suited choice. I Believe that MG bucket bag have a leverage on their string. And to me that is a plus! LV does not. If LV had offer a leverage on them rather than to tie the string ends, I would Love to consider one in monogram and azur. I also prefer the Gucci one too (the diamanté pattern) because they offer a leverage too.

my royal blue calfskin MG (large) bucket has loose strings. i have to tie the string ends in a bow, but i still love it! it's the lightest leather bag i own (other lighter bags being bals) and i can wear it crossbody, which is important for me. i bought it when MG restocked their website in dec, so i haven't owned it long enough to speak to wear/tear, etc.

i don't own a LV Noe, so i can't comment on that bag specifically.

No, it doesn't go that short, unless you have someone modify the strap (which shouldn't be too hard if you have a good leather person?). IMO, I don't know if it would be comfortable to carry the MG large bucket tucked under your elbow. Your arm might not sit flush against your side if the bucket was worn that high up. MG isn't a smooshy/slouchy leather like Bal, but it does flex.

At the shortest, it hangs at my hip when worn on the shoulder. I wear it crossbody at the longest length.

I have both the LV noe (petite noe) and the MG bucket bag (large original size) and I like the LV bucket bag more, it's more comfortable, softer, easy to use, and epi is understated also. You also asked about quality, the LV quality is amazing and looks new for a very long time, the MG bucket starts looking worn very fast and the strap is not as comfortable as the thick LV strap, as well the length on the LV strap is better, sits on the perfect part of the body for me (it's adjustable)
