I just looked at the MO website-it appears that the regular size does not have the shoulder strap but the larger one does.

I'm not sure about the new collection. It's too many new designs too quickly. To me, MG has beautiful classic designs. I used to be on the edge of my seat waiting for the 1 or 2 new styles they were going to release - ie, the canvas buckets / the lady bag / the handful of new colours.
It feels like they are pressured to churn out lots of new designs per season now every fashion week for a show. Which is the way the industry work and I guess will eventually happen if a brand becomes successful enough!
My favourites are still the bucket and lady bag. They are gorgeous!
The introduction of suede is the best in the new collection imo.
I really dislike the elegant bag in patent pink in particular. Reminds me of a Barbie handbag at a toy section in a department store. I kinda expect to find sweet wrappers and crayon stains in it.

I believe a trunk show on MO is like a pre-order. MG will then put into production the amount of orders they received via MO, plus producing items for other retailers.
The last couple of releases on their own website haven't sold out instantly like they used to. Either they're making ALOT more or people aren't buying as much.
ugh, wanted to order the mini from Moda Operandi! $345 was a nice price and to pay a half deposit now was a good deal. Kicking myself for having missed out on pulling the trigger~
