If your MIL is in Manhattan, it's far to get to Long Island. You need a car or as someone mentioned take public transportation, about 40 mins with good traffic

Thank you! I will let her know and decide if she wants to do it! Since she complained that H prices are too high, sale is her option!

I found this sale amazing. Much better then the city sales recently, not counting the most recent one which was pretty darn good too - at least for me.

They did have some bags, I noticed some garden parties in leather and canvas, some saxo in different colors, some fourre-tout cavalier bags, some briefcase bags, Valparaiso bags and Etriviere bags. A few other canvas bags but I wasn't sure what they were.

Tons of bangles and clic clacs in all colors and sizes

Lots of scarves, shoes, sneakers, jewelry, rtw - all was pretty good.

I didn't get any bracelets as I already have a ton but picked up two pairs of ex Libris studs in sliver - which I have been lusting over for ages but could not justify the $950 price tag - I scored 2 pairs for $56 each. These were my scores of the day and made the wait worth it.

The line was long and check out took over an hour and by the time I checked out - most of the store was sold. Mostly home goods, pillows and rtw left with a handful of scarves and some print bangles.

All bags were gone but for a handful of the smaller canvas ones and a briefcase.

Was told the bangles and some of the smaller scarves would be restocked but not much as they want to clean out all the rest that is left in the store - because sat will be the first day in the new location.

shoot..kicking myself now for not going! lolz..

the sale happens once a year but it seems like this is the best sale yet.. they're clearing out the store for their temp location on sat..they're expanding the store and renovations happening until new store in Nov.

their past sales have some shoes, past scarves, shawls, and some bags, mainly canvas.
