I’d really love to add a malachite necklace and am debating between the Amulette and the Alhambra. I really do love them both, but each has pros/cons. For the Amulette, I like that it is not as common, but it’s in rose gold whereas most of my jewelry is yellow gold. I’ve also heard that there is a protective finish on the Amulette so the malachite is protected, not sure if this is true though. The Alhambra is beautiful, but I already have the vintage pendant in MOP and YG so not sure if I’d want two in the same design. Would love to hear your thoughts, especially if you were debating between the two! TIA

Is it true that Cartier is ceasing the amulette collection? Or was that's just a rumour?
I can understand you wanting something different given you already have Alhambra. My concern would be that if Cartier discontinues the amulette collection, will you still be ale to get the malachite replaced?

I just got the onyx xs Amulette necklace and I love the shape. They are phasing it out and you see less and less pieces. I think they are just selling out the last of their inventory. They had one necklace left in store and they are not displaying them anymore. I wear the onyx with another yellow gold necklace and it’s not noticeable that they are different golds. Cartier also will extend the chain if you want it longer at any time. I like the length and it has two jump rings.

But I was told by the SA that malachite is delicate and to only put it on once showered and ready (no parfum or cream directly to it).
Reg the repair, I am pretty sure Cartier will stand behind their products even if a line is discontinued. The repair could just take longer.
I can send an email to my SA and ask later this week - I will let you know as I was thinking to get a bracelet from this line too

Hmm tough one. Since you already have a VCA necklace, maybe get the amulette to mix up your collection a bit? However I do think the Alhambra tends to show off the stone nicely.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve look at the divas dream line but so far not that interested, but who know it could grow on me! Will have to give it another look.
I’m not a huge VCA fan in general (Perlee Signature without the actual VCA signature is my exception, but alas, it does not exist), but I vote for the Alhambra. Amulette reminds me too much of Pac-Man.
