I always waterproof beforehand with a boot protector I get from finishline and footaction athletic stores. I spray everything from leather jackets to handbags with it and no water damage to date. It does not hurt leather in any way. My suede remains soft too. No hard or crunchy business. Water runs right off. It's like rain-ex for leather and suede.
Have you ever tried michael Kors protector? Trying to see what's the best of the two ☺️☺️

Any advice on how to protect the croc embossed bags? I just got my N/S Dillon in Dark Red & want to protect her. I have MK Rain & Stain Repellent but wonder about what would be a good leather conditioner.

I would recommend apply a small area where we don't normally see like under the straps and let it dry for a day and see if you like the result.

I love this stuff I found on ebay from 'The Chemical Guys' . They also have a website. It's called 'Sprayable Leather Cleaner and Conditioner' You use this first and then try the finishing product Baglady suggested a few posts back, to protect it. So you put the conditioner on first, let it dry good and then put on the sealer, ant walla!

I'm going to order some of this stuff. Sounds like it's what I'm looking for! Thank you!

It's the 'Sprayable leather Cleaner and Condition by THE CHEMICAL GUYS. It's super easy to work with, and then lets try that sealer over it, that baglady mentioned. I want to try that, OVER the conditioner.

I just ordered 2 bottles of the Chemical Guys cleaner & condition. Can't wait to get it. I'm even going to use it on the leather seats in the Vette!! Thanks, Cin!!

Cool! Glad you found it! yes, I use it in my truck and even on the Harley and all my biker leather. Us bikers know our leather! lol! :coolio:Did you get the spray on??

Hi ladies, I was wondering... How does the soft leather on MK bags hold up?

I really want the medium Colette bag but it's made out of vitelo leather and not saffiano leather.. I prefer structured bags, and don't want to buy it if it will lose its structure over time.

Yep. Ordered 2 bottles of the spray on. If it really does the trick, I'll order the big jug to refill the bottles. My husband has leather seats in his Jeep & I have leather seats in my Mustang too. And I have loads of leather handbags!! :lawl:

That bag has good structure to it. It should hold it's shape well. The soft leather is fabulous! I think you will love it !
