Finally received my nano speedy today since I pre ordered in January. Finally has the time to unbox it. But excitement faded off when I realised one side of handle is smooth but the other handle is wrinkled, is that normal? Am disappointed and trying not to be fussy. But it is so obvious to ignore since this is new piece. Should I exchange ? Or is this normal ? Thanks

Nano is such a cutie. Several of my bags with those kinds of handles have one that has wrinkles on the inside part if you are handholding, and one is smooth. It doesn’t bother me at all - as leather is a natural skin it does that sometimes. DK if LV would consider it a flaw but if it bugs you you can always check. After wearing a bag those things just go unnoticed for me as I don’t look at handles etc when using, but we all have to decide what we can tolerate. Good luck with your decision.

@DrTr thank you for sharing it with me . This is my sort of first vachette treated leather item I had, I am glad it is normal. Coz the handle for the damier ebene bandouliere 25 and keepall xs does not have such issue. I take it that it is the nature of leather and I know that over time, it will be like wrinkling though I did not expect a new piece to have it as well. I checked back with my SA and she said the 1st few batches she saw, also the same thinga and is normal. If I choose to return it, I have to go back to the queue and might need around 6 months before I can get another piece as currently there is no stock and high demand. Since it is such a lil cutie, I been waiting for this improved version, I decided to keep it. The strap length is adjustable and works for me. Perfect lil one to add on.:heart:

I know GAN, it is disappointing when we anticipate a lovely bag and find something that makes our hearts fall. And its even harder when we can’t just easily exchange the bag if we choose. But I have 2 keepall xs and one handle on one has the wrinkle and the other XS is not wrinkled. And I can’t remember which is which Without physically checking as I just don’t notice. So it clearly isn’t top of mind anymore. I hope that is true for you too.

It sounds like you love the bag and it fits you perfectly. It is such a small beauty, and I love the look of the treated vachetta. I hope you wear her and enjoy her! Congratulations on getting one, I know they were hard to come by. :flowers:

I have wrinkles on my speedy nano too! If you didn't mention it, I wouldn't have noticed it on my speedy! I think it's normal. The bag is so tiny that when the leather is bent into shape for the handle, it's a much tighter "arc" compared to larger speedy's so I think the wrinkling is inevitable and unavoidable. Read in a later post that you'll be keeping the bag. Yay! Enjoy using her!

I love the contrast between the black and the monogram so I think this is a great choice! Love them! Now we need some modelling pics! :biggrin::panic:

This beauty popped up yesterday at the insta from my local second hand store and I went there today to have look and it had to come with me! Price was too good and condition is near new except for a tiny smudged area at the vachetta rim, which I can get rid of. So pretty and such a good size. Will be used as a cosmetic bag. Anybody has this? How do you like it? Not sure when I get to travel again, but it will be a pretty sight in my dressingroom or bathroom (perhaps after waterproofing it…)…
