I bought an Empriente Pochette Métis for my birthday.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if my embossing is deep or not?
There were no others in the store to compare with.

Hi elle456, I think the embossing looks deep, and the alignment of your bag and lock look excellent.

It’s here! First impression is that it’s the perfect small crossbody. But quick question- is it normal for the pattern to be so off at the seam? It’s the bottom and the bag is otherwise lovely (hardware looks perfect with no scratches). Am I being too picky-picky?

I think it's normal. Some of my bags look like that. As long as everything else is okay.... it's beautiful!

I think if everything is perfect except this, then I wouldn’t worry abt it. I have a bag where the alignment is off too and it’s pretty common. If there’s no fault or something scratched, torn etc… I would just enjoy the bag. It’s so pretty! But I guess also on the other hand you have to be able to be happy with the bag you buy too. If it’s really annoying you then perhaps you may want to return and find another, but these days with LV you don’t know if the next one will be worst. At the end of the day you have to be happy! Enjoy!

I’m so sad with LV high prices nowadays with low quality of craftsmanship which LV should represent, an align,continuous,balance symmetry/pattern especially on a two pieces materials to be joint/seam even more on the bottom, side or the back of a bag etc…It’s good you’re not that bothered or too picky like me bcoz it’s really obvious and I will exchange it even it will take forever. I don’t understand others for saying it’s normal, just bcoz that’s the always the case (flaws) and due to scarcity of production, I can’t blame them for accepting it as a “normal” and expending too much money on a bag w/ flaws.

I think this is a good response and has given me food for thought- from what I have seen looking at responses to other posts on the forum, it seems like LV itself does not consider minor misalignment a flaw, but I agree it is aesthetically not pleasing and one would think at the price point they could be more precise.

I do think that scarcity is a driver- I know I don't love the idea of returning and not being able to exchange for another item, or putting in an exchange and getting one that looks similar OR has a different issue. I appreciate it- it seems like we all agree that this type of issue should not happen but has sadly become more common.

I'm totally the person who will pick through every item in a store to get one that looks the best, but haven't had the ability to do so with LV so I wanted to get an idea of what is normal for them My husband makes fun of me for it, but I learned it from my mom who is even worse than I am.

Picked up the Idylle Blossom earrings today. I’m loving the understated but elegant fine jewelry!

Also might be bringing home a bag in a couple of days…if I do, it’ll contain a one-way ticket to ban island

I have bought key cles last month for our new car, but hubby complained because it’s irritating to open and close the zip. So today I finally got 6 key holder. Let’s see how it goes..

Thank you thank you thank you! One thing I've learnt from this, and something that many TPFers also say - if your heart is not feeling 100% about the bag, don't get it! Even if there are price increases, just wait for your dream bag to arrive. Don't settle! Finally, LV added an adjustable & detachable strap to the Speedy Nano! I'm so glad I waited!
