magic alhambra onyx earrings or vintage alhambra pave wg earrings?

I did want to pipe in the with a different opinion than most here regarding the Magic onyx yg earclips. Many find them harsh looking — lol I couldn’t disagree more ! I find the onyx striking and elegant. And I think they look lovely with dark hair !
Some will look at these pictures and think “harsh”, I look and think “beautiful” !

Out of the 3 pairs you are considering, I would get the frivole small pave first as I think you can get the most wear out them. They are so sparkly and certainly one of my favorite pair of earrings.

Oh i was thinking of the Frivole small Mirror wg earrings though.. prob wont get another Pave earrings as the VintaGe pave would be enough for me .. i am wondering if i shld get the 3 motif earrings.. while beautiful, they arent as easy to match for day to day

Hello ! Having these earrings I can assure they are just gorgeous (they make you have this kind of I-am-a-princess-feeling
) … that being said I wear them really not as often as I would like to. They are quite heavy (if I put stickers that helps a lot but they are a necessity …) and they look really chic so I don’t think about these as of every day earrings.In the end I don’t regret buying these earrings, just that I know these will be one of my worse cost per wear piece of VCA

does anyone know if the vintage Alhambra earrings with paved diamonds in RG is the same size as the motif on the vintage Alhambra bracelet? dont have the time to go to the store and would rather order online. tried the motif on my bracelet on my ear and liked it! wanted to make sure its not bigger
I have bracelet paved / GMOP and earrings paved RG. Exactly same motif yes 👍🏻. I also chose those upon WG / YG they look gorgeous. Maybe just to know that they come from boutique with post in the lower position and they are 4 gram weight so easy everyday wear for me

I saw that you already purchased but yes my vote would have also been for the VCA pave! I think they are such classics that can be worn all the time. I do like the magic onyx as well but it needs to be complemented with other pieces as well imo. The pave is standalone!

Hey, I'll appear here. Vintage size onyx ones don't look too well on me. I'm a pale blonde. Definitely looking better in YG. In theory it should work but it doesn't. I'll check again in winter but I think I look more tired. Instead, MOP makes me look more angelic, fresh in a good way. 2 motifs MOP is perfect (it looked great on the Duchess Kate), princessy. Frivole mirror - looks modern, is shiny but not overwhelming. I look young and refreshed.
Could you advise me if I already have frivole yg and like it - should I consider paved ones? I like it on others but on me? Someone mentions the basic version shines more. As a YG person I'm torn. Also - does it look modern? Also, I'm so torn on 3 motifs, its weight. I wish for Chalcedony earrings YG.
