I got the Coach Madison Café Carryall in two colours, "Burnt Camel" (a medium tan, the interior is a muted taupe) and "Silt" (a dark taupe-which is a grayish-tan, interior lining is navy blue). Both have light gold hardware.
This would actually not be for me but for my mother's upcoming birthday (she's nearing 60). Function-wise, it's perfect. It has 3 compartments that would enable her to keep all the junk she carries around well-organized but it's not so huge that it would seem like a burden to use on a daily basis (the sheer amount of stuff that woman lugs around staggers me!). Also, the design is streamlined and versatile (appropriate for most office or social settings). Overall, it'll be a workhorse of a bag.
I just have one problem: I can't decide which colour I like more! Both colours are equally classic. I thought about giving my mother both of them and asking her to choose but she's totally hopeless with colours. Seriously, she's one of those rare women who actually doesn't care in the slightest and generally has no opinion when it comes to handbags. As long as it can hold stuff, she'll be okay with it. I know that's hard to be believe--maybe that's why I've become the total opposite and could agonize for weeks over the tiniest detail.
So I know that I'll just have to give her my pick and be done with it.
So I need some help! What do y'all think? Which colour do you like more? Which one should I keep? The "Burnt Camel" (Left) or the "Silt" (Right)?
