I got some intel today! I was told by the manager of M2M that they are revamping the silk blouse program to make it more “sustainable” and reduce waste. So instead of using the actual scarves, which require a lot of labor with the hand rolling of the edges etc, they will produce long bolts of certain patterns of “scarf” material that will then be used for the M2M silk blouses. They will continue the current program through spring then it will be paused for a little while until the new program is up and running. I don’t have any additional details about when that will be or how much the new blouses will cost.

I think that makes sense! I wonder if there will be less selection though.

I agree! Im sure there’s so much waste with using the scarves. Yeah that’s a good point about the selection. Although they already limit which scarf designs are eligible for M2M so maybe it won’t be worse than current .

ETA: DH ordered a cashmere quarter zip and I ordered an oversized long zip up cashmere hoodie. They are shortening the sleeves but keeping the body oversized. i tried a couple other cardigans but the deal breaker with those was they lacked POCKETS! The hoodie I got has pockets.
