Hello dear fellow purse addicts  Last weekend, I went to my local store to browse and just try a couple of new bags. I had in mind getting something small, because most of my LVs are rather on the heavy side when loaded with all my stuff.

I fell for the black Alma bb LV x YK and took her home. I‘m normally not a spontaneous buyer - so now I‘m having second thoughts and wonder whether I should return it. Is it worth the money for such a small bag? Should I exchange for the regular epi Alma bb, which comes at a better price for basically the same bag?

What do you think?

If you’re questioning yourself then I would definitely exchange for the regular epi. For the price and the LE yk edition, you have to really love it to use and keep it.

Thanks for your reply! I like the style as I‘m a sucker for polka dots, but just not sure whether some dots and a pumpkin charm justify the price point. (I‘m in Germany, regular epi Alma bb costs 1.490€, the YK bb comes at 2.110€)

Here‘s a snap I took at the store while trying on. I own a couple of „plain black bags“, so I liked this one being special. However, a regular epi noir might be more versatile, hard to decide.

It looks great on you but you have to love it, as it is much more unique and special than the normal one. It is definitely a statement piece and for the price too it has to make your heart sing

thank you! And that´s true ... I´ll try it with some different outfits tonight, perhaps that can help to decide. If I can see myself wearing it a lot, it would somehow justify the price ...

If you love it keep it, it looks great on you and I think especially the black one will be easy to use as it is not as popping as the red and yellow ones.

But it always depends on your gut feeling. If you are unsure it is probably better to switch to the regular one, especially for that price point.

But if you are intrigued and you sound like that, if it suits your style and you already have many black plainer bags, it might be worth keeping it to make changing between the black bags interesting and also it is a really special bag to have.

Like others have said, if you're questioning it, then I'd return. I agree that it's going to be something a bit more trendy than "classic." I fear that the white dots will bug you after a certain period of time.
