LV wallet or Gucci Wallet?

I would go for LV, I am speaking from personal experiences and I don't know whether the quality of GUCCI has improved in recent years, but I have a Gucci wallet that I bought like 10 years ago and the leather turned yellowish-brown and parts of it was even scrapped off. My sisters and I bought my mom a limited edition Gucci wallet some years ago for her birthday, and even though she hardly use it cause she loves it so much, the same thing happened to her wallet and she was so sad and disappointed about it.

On the other hand, I have an LV epi leather wallet that I bought like 14 years ago and it is still in really good condition. My mom also have a couple of LV wallet that she bought a long time ago and they all stood the test of time pretty good as well. Hence I would highly recommend LV over Gucci just for the quality,

I would buy the Gucci for now since they look seasonal items and will run out, and buy the LV wallet later.

I am an LV girl through and through, but My vote is for that amazing Bengal Tiger wallet! It’s stunning! Wow!

I’m a mom. This is a tough choice. Either way will be a wonderful gift. LV for timeless style and quality. Gucci for being unique and pretty. I couldn’t even vote. I would be amazed and thrilled if my kids thought to get me something so special!! I’ve bought all my own bags.

I’d recommend the LV. The Gucci coated canvas feel more stiff. These are my daily SLGs - love them all!

I prefer a classic, elegant piece over a loud, cartoonish piece. So my vote goes to the DE wallet.

GUCCI, GUCCI, GUCCI. .

But if it were the Catogram LV wallet, then I think I'd swing the other way.

For a wallet I would choose this Gucci. The classic LV can be bought any other time.
If I were choosing a bag, definitely the classic.

Hi ladies!! Thanks sooo much for all the opinions and input, after thinking heavily through and asking myself which she'd prefer (as some of you kindly advised), i decided to go with the classic LV instead!! I realized i liked the gucci bengal more than she would and it was probably my own preference taking over LOL! Nonetheless, my mom deserves the best and i hope she'll love this!!! Can't wait to see her work that damier hehe! Thanks so much again ladies
