LV Trip - Went to LV fully intending to get

aww such a cute pair! i went to LV yesterday too to get a white shirley, but it really is too small to be of much use to me and for the price i would've opted to get something more practical...like your cute koala! congrats!

The DH and I had a really scary time recently concerning his health. Luckily, it all turned out okay. We got the wallet during our first outing after his procedure, so it has special meaning...
I wanted to answer some of the ?s:
I was all set to get the Shirley because I wanted an awesome evening clutch that I could use for a long time. The ones I had been using were too small. After seeing pics, I
ed the white MC version, but then decided to go with black because most of my going out clothes are black. Plus I thought the white would get dirty faster.
Well, I saw the black and white IRL and while they are nice, they just weren't all that. And the white version is nicer. The Shirley is quite long, but very structured, so I didn't think I could fit that much. Also, while it is structured, it looked a bit crushed in in the middle (maybe because it wasn't stuffed?).
And it just didn't seem worth $770.
Of course, $535 for a wallet isn't very practical either. I just figured I would use it every day for many years, while I would only bust out the Shirley every once in a while. (ahhh, the things we tell ourselves - and our DHs - to justify our purchases
).
While I was at LV, I think I found my next ... the red epi Jasmin!!
